According to Variety:

The CW has given full-season order to all three of its rookie dramas: "Ringer," "The Secret Circle" and "Hart of Dixie."

...While "Circle" is the highest rated of the bunch in its Thursday 9 p.m. slot, reaching 2 million total viewers and a 0.8 rating/2 share among viewers 18-49 in its last episode, "Dixie" and "Ringer" actually build on their respective lead-ins, "Gossip Girl" and "90210." "Circle" is preceded by CW's strongest performer, "Vampire Diaries."

Not that they had many choices....

"In a hundred years there'll be a whole new set of people."
"Always poke the bears. They sleep too much for their own good."

"If you're good enough, they'll talk about you." - Tom Harmon

I've been disappointed in Ringer - for something inspired by film noir it's surprisingly tame, it needs to be more edgy and twisted.

I watched a couple of episodes of Circle. It fits in the vein of Vampire Diaries - something spooky for the teen-20something set. It's not half bad and it has the guy who played the young John Connor from Sarah Connor Chronicles in it, so that's a plus.
