I recently terminated my Dish account. I had 3 receivers and they only wanted 1 back. I assume I can sell the 111 that I bought. I also have a relatively new (May 2011) 722 which was installed by a service guy replacing a broken 622. I had considered this unit leased, but Dish said it was purchased. If I offered it for sale would a buyer be able to get it activated?

Thanks.

If you are unsure, call 1-800-333-DISH and give them the Receiver number and ask them to check to see if it is eligible to be activated. The number begins with R00 and then 5 digits. You shouldn't need to give your name or account number.

If its not leased then go ahead and sell it.
Assuming there is no unpaid balance left on your account your buyer shouldnt have any problem getting it transfered to his account.
