Les Stroud has announced he's going to go out into the field and film more Survivorman, no air dates yet. He's going out for 10 days at a time, and as usual for this series, no camera crew.

Cool, I really enjoyed this show.

Definitely, one of the better Survivor type shows.

Very nice; I didn't think the show was coming back.

I didn't think so either, I'm sure it takes quite a lot out of him. It's a tough show to do.

Les does a great job. I enjoy his shows and look forward to his new episodes.

Great news! I saw some episodes in my guide the other day and was lamenting the fact that he'd called it quits.

He will return again, signed the paperwork and starts filming in two weeks. 8 episodes, 10 days out (so I'm assuming each location is two episodes).

In this case he will not be completely alone for all of them (I know some believe he has a film crew with him all the time), for at least one location his 16 year old son will be joining him.

No air dates yet.

Outstanding. I really miss Les and whenever I'm flipping through channels and see Survivorman on I'll watch no matter how many times I've seen that particular episode. I was bummed when the original went away and was excited for the 10 day series. Glad it's coming back.

What I miss is his Beyond Survival. Tribal culture is quite interesting.
