Anyone have an idea why my HR 24 won't change TV Format?
It happens a couple of times a week. I use the format button but it does nothing.. system test or RBR brings it back

How is it connected to the tv? Is it HD?

A HR24 connected to a HDTV using HDMI on a HD channel will not allow you to change the format, on a SD channel it will.

Composite is analog only. If no other connections, you can't have multiple formats. You need HDMI connectivity or Component for other formats.
