With the 2012 calendar year on the horizon, what are your wishes for the upcoming year---------as far as Dish Network is concerned?

Personally, I'd like to see the return of GOL TV, as well as the additions of BBC World News, Sky News, Comcast Sportsnet Northwest to Dish Network.

As well as adding the Big Ten Network to the A250 lineup as well as Euronews.

And of course, the Pacific-12 Network.

* When subscribing to PPV sports events, please have it enabled in all DVRs in my residence - NOT just on ONE of them.
* Dishonline to work correctly.
* Unlimited store exchanges even for BBMP
* More movies (decent) for online streaming
* Give more functionality when watching through sling - like see recorded DVR programs through sling. I don't think it is possible now.

I thought if you order a PPV from your remote on the receiver, then you could go to another receiver on the account and order it again and Bly be charged once. Ordering online or via phone does not work this way, but a receiver connected to phone or Internet should.

I watch DVR recordings via Sling all the time already.

I ordered World Cup cricket and I was thoroughly screwed as it was authorized on ONLY ONE receiver. I talked to DN many times, they would not do it. Even though it was supposed to non-refundable they were ready to give my money back BEFORE the event started.

There are certain other PPV events as well which apparently suffer the same fate.

Not sure what I am doing wrong (does browser matter) but through online sling remote DVR button is disabled.

Cricket is one exception to the rule of being able to order with your remote from any receiver on your account and only being charge the one time for that PPV event as long as the event number is the same.

The only browser that isn't supported for DISH Online is Chrome. Are you getting an error message when you try to sling? Is your receiver showing ONLINE or OFFLINE when you are logged into your account? Usually when the receiver shows OFFLINE, you can't see any of the DVR events. Do you have the latest software version for your receiver?

Please let me know. Thanks.

How about something all of us can use and appreciate, a LIGHTED REMOTE. Directv has or had one. I loved it.

BTN is a RSN for you. The rest of the country has to have multi sports pack to receive it.

I am hoping for WWE network at launch. I feel like we will probably get it because it will be the only way to watch wrestlemania this year. Will not be offered on PPV.

I would really like to see Dish make it a priority to carry all hd local channels in every major and mid-size market. This is one area that DirecTV is heads and shoulders above.

Of course as a sports fan I'd like ESPNU & ESPN News in HD as well. I like Dish but if they don't make strides in these areas when my contract is up I will switch back to DirecTV.

Speaking of TiVo, now that the lawsuit is over and Dish is paying settlement fees and license fees for the '389 patent, I'd like our existing receivers to go back to using the "violating" software. I'm tired of erratic jumps and FF speeds that are nowhere close to what is indicated.

+1 & it should lower our price at least $5 dollars if we choose not to get the sports programming
