Does AppleTV/Roku2/Sony media player/anything else have the ability to share its connection to my receiver via ethernet? I'm having a very hard time getting a receiver that isn't near my router connected to the internet via ethernet cable.

Thanks.

You can connect a switch to a nearby Ethernet cable and turn it into a number of ports.

Small Gigabit switches can be had for under $15 on Amazon.
