Defective Replacement Receiver - IR Weak

Thur 1-5-12:
Replacement reconditioned HR20-700 received today, installed, activated and working.

Just before I replaced it, I re-checked the earlier HR20-100 and it still was weak on receiving IR unless remote close up.

Replacement HR20-700 works great with strong reception of IR signals.

So as I originally diagnosed and DirecTV later concurred, problem was the receiver I received on 11-23-11.

Problem solved!
