While watching my recording for Modern Family last night a commercial slip through... That commercial was to announce Cougar Town coming back on 2/14!

Woo Hoo!

Yeah, I'm sure they'll be making fun of the title all season. I look forward to seeing what they come up with.

Awesome! At least something good came from work it... its cancellation brought back te cul-de-sac crew.
Opinions expressed by me are my own and do not necessarily reflect
those of DBSTalk.com, DIRECTV, DISH, The Signal Group, or any other company.

Yep, posted in the TV reminders thread a couple of days ago (does everyone not subscribe to that thread?)

I'm sure Directv can't wait to get their hands on your unit.

Yes, I'm pretty sure everyone does not subscribe to the reminders thread. ;)

But in that reminder thread we can't discuss the awesome sauce that is the news that Cougar Town is returning, so a dedicated thread was a great idea.

No, I don't. Why should I get an email for every post when I'm not interested in most of the reminders posted? If I think about it I look through the thread because it is a good resource but I don't need an email for every post in the thread.

Besides, as Drew pointed out, you can't talk about the show itself in the reminders thread. :)

Didn't mean to infer that a dedicated thread wasn't needed. Merely that the first post inferred discovery of information that had already been posted.

PS. I don't watch 75% of the shows posted in that thread either, but I'd rather have to delete a bunch of Emails than inadvertently miss the premiere of a show I really wanted to see. Obviously not everyone feels that way.

Saw it there, and when the "added" acknowledgment came through went to the calendar (TV Shows tab up top) to request a reminder e-mail be sent.

They probably should have changed the name. Apparently "Cougar" is now an offensive term:

Anyway, looking forward to its return. :)
