As a paying customer for EI Im annoyed that FOX/MLB cant at least give us a choice. What do they care what game I watch as long as Im watching a game.
I wanted to watch the D'Backs but only had audio access on my SiriusXM

They want you watching the local station for the local commercials. It is a matter of protecting their affiliates. I can see both sides.

Well I spoke too soon about MLB.TV, today has been brutal with pausing video and out of sync audio and video. I'm watching the Phillies/Pirates right now and the game has paused so much that is running about an inning and 1/2 behind the live game

Streaming video is wonderful but still has issues. The best Ning about MLB.tv is that it is portable.

Looks like the Canadian/Phily feeds are back today.

Looks like the Canadian/Phily feeds are back today. Anyone heard what this MLB Network Strike Zone channel is?!! Just noticed it in my EPG today starts supposedly on Tuesday.

Yup. Tuesday and Friday nights for those who have EI or Sports Pack. It's like NFL Redzone but for baseball. :)

Ughhh, I hope this poor video quality on Fox Sports Detroit for this Tigers game is a fluke. It really doesn't look good. It's Fox Saturday Baseball quality.

Why is the MASN2 feed not in the Extra Innings lineup? I can watch it on the actual RSN so it's not that big a deal.

He's screwed meaning he won't be able to watch those games. Some people get so defensive of MLB/Directv when it comes to blackout rules and any criticism. YES, we know what the blackout rules are when we order, however, we are still SCREWED when it comes to watching the Fox games not in our market. It's not like the guy was saying that he's receiving the blackout in error, or that he thought he would get the game but won't be, nevertheless he is not happy he's not receiving it. Is that allowed?

No, you are not screwed. Screwed is when you are not able to get something you are entitled to. When you order MLB EI you know this. It's the same thing year in and year out. If you choose to order it, that's what you should expect. Not liking it is one thing. Wishing it were different is one thing. I don't like them. Claiming you're getting screwed is another. Living in Tampa I am subjected to the Red Sox, Yankees, and Mets pretty much anytime they are on Fox and I'd much rather watch someone else.

Your local affiliate cares, thus the rule.

So it looks like 4SD lost the contract for Padres, so now we gotta watch Padres games in Fox Sports subpar 720p? That's a shame. 4SD was one of the pioneers in pristine 1080i baseball :( The PQ is soft, grainy and kinda nasty.

To me, the PQ of FS San Diego is pretty good, especially in comparison with other FOX RSN's.

Isn't that the pregame show? Per the Yankees schedule the game doesn't start until 1:05.

I too thought Sunday's SD/LA game looked pretty good. Was never impressed with the channel 4 picture. Have always thought FS Detroit looked like crap. Some of the FOX rsn's are indeed 1080i. I know Cincy is & I'm pretty sure Midwest (St. Louis) & whichever one does Tampa are 1080i as well.

Quick question - if I live in Bay Area and want to see Yu Darvish's first start tonight (Mariners at Rangers) - will I be able to record it on FoxSportsNW or do I need to record one of the EI channels (does my EI subscription unlock all the FoxSports regional channel broadcasts?)

Yes, you can record the RSNs, they're open during games with EI.
If you stop responding to them or put them on ignore, then eventually they'll go away.

You're right. A lot of the FSN stations look terrible this season. It's usually not this bad in years past. Hopefully this gets corrected soon.

I noticed this with FS Arizona on Sunday and the audio was horrible. The background noise of the stadium PA and crowd were coming in louder than the announcers.

If my tv info that reads the channel is to be believes I've had plenty of ESPN and FSN/MLB EI games in 1080i thus far.
