a local Moose Lodge remodeled (not my lodge but one a few towns over) had I think one old reciever before.....got four new HD sets, and of course, SD boxes. this happend in late december. Wouldn't you think the installer would have told them they needed HD boxes! they have a round 3LNB dish. would DTV upgrade them for free? would they need to just buy 99.99 H25's? and DTV would upgrade the dish? I'd think they would help out a long time customer.
good thing a techie Moose Brother took care of my lodge and made sure it was done right:)

That dish might be the older Phase III dish which has 3 LNBs. It can't receive the HD channels which is why the installer didn't mention anything.
DirecTV since '96, Waivers for ABC, CBS, NBC, & Fox, HR23-700 & HR24-500/AM21, using ethernet based MRV.
