Hey guys, they don't provide DVRs. They don't provide cable boxes. They don't do cable cards. The digital channels are in the clear with a QAM tuner. They also don't have a website(overton county cable). Their phone # is 931 823 1114. I live in rural area, FWIW.

I decided to go with Dish and a Joey/Hopper Set up.

Wow, that is a pretty backwoods cable provider. I would guess then thier channel lineup probably isn't that great? And it makes more sense now about the filter traps on the cable lines, to tier the packages. Very 90's

I'm sure you will be happy with the new Joey/Hopper setup. Everyone that uses it seems to like it.

It is unreal. We have it at my dad's garage. The digital channels look pretty good. I would get all the Braves games so it would have worked for me. It also carrier some digital sub channels too. Do rural systems get federal help?

Our teleco is going to offer TV in my sometime, maybe later this year, but I don
t think it competes with DirecTV or Dish very well.
