I'm guessing FS San Diego will be a live-game only channel (just like FS Kansas City, FS Indiana, RS Utah, FS Tennessee, FS Carolinas, etc.)

My guess is that it will be a full-time channel.

Ok SR, you posted that in the HD Anticipation thread. So would that imply one of the new HD Additions is in fact an RSN?....

I like this one better though...

Subscribed to DirecTV for NFL Sunday Ticket, remained a subscriber for international football.

If it is FSN San Diego, the channel has to launch first. Guessing it will launch in the next few weeks. Baseball season is around the corner, so the launch will happen SOON!:)

I wouldn't be so sure about that. ;)

Not sure of the launch or DirecTV carrying FSN San Diego? But you're right, until contracts are actually get signed, no one knows for sure.

http://www.utsandieg...around-march-5/

I would. Due to some state law, cable companies have a requirement to inform the public of channel changes a month ahead of the change. (Which satellite providers don't have to adhere to, as the law pre-dates DBS systems)

Cox spilled the beans: March 5th they are adding FSN San Diego to their lineup, and I am willing to bet DirecTV is not going to let Padres fans out in the cold.

Might as well confirm it, SatelliteRacer. ;) ;)
[Disclaimer] The definition of "soon" is based solely on DirecTV's interpretation of the word, and all similarities with dictionary definitions of the word "soon" are purely coincidental and should not be interpreted as a time frame that will come to pass within a reasonable amount of time.

I am the Stig.
