At my local Target today and saw the URC R50 remote on closeout for $49.99 and the WR7 for $12.99. They had one of each left so I took them both. If you've been thinking about either one of these remotes, now is the time to head down to Target.

That's half price for two great remotes. The WR7 is a great fit for DirecTV. If they continue carrying URC, they're probably making room for the new R40.

Thanks for the heads up.

I messed with this R50 for about 3 hours last night, and is it ever a PIA.

I can get my activities set up, no problem. But the On/Off macro programming will not work. I've tried 3 methods and it won't turn everything on or off like my WR7 does.

This remote is going back. It's not worth a dime if it simply won't work.
