I Am a new dish customer and they installers from dish are installing a black dish turbo hd satellite antenna with a hopper and Joey. I thought the black turbo hd dish was obsolete and the antenna had been upgraded because of reception problems??

The "black"dish is a 1K.4 which is bigger than a 1K.2.Be happy.:D

The bigger the reflector(dish) the stronger the signal.;)

Mine that was put in a couple of months ago for eastern arc was the black dish. I actually kind of like the look of it, though I can't really see it from the ground.
