Right now I’m looking at these two, which one would you pick? Or do you recommend anything else?

I recommend keeping the Denon you have, IMO, its better than either of those you linked. Your problem lies elsewhere if you arent happy with the sound.

Forget about either of those two. For about the same money this one is better:) Do not hesitate though only one left!

I was looking at the Onkyo NR3008 but it’s a little out of my price. Anyone else think the Onkyo 3007 would be better than my Denon 3311ci?

Personally, I dont think Onkyo makes anything as good as the Denon stuff, but others like them. Feature for feature, Onkyo receivers tend to be a little more affordable, but I just don't think they are quite as good. I've had Pioneer, Pioneer Elite, and Yamaha before I ever bought Denon stuff...10 years later I'm still buying Denon...

I was only responding to the two recievers you posted as options. Between the Onkyo 876 and the Pio SC-27 the 3007 is of the same generation and a much better value right now while you can still get one. If the question is should you replace the 3311 with the 3007? I would not. I would also not replace it with the 876 or SC-27. What I would do is add some external amps to the 3311 if you think it is underpowered for your needs. But again, it will cost more than $500 to do this and achieve any benefit over what you already have.

I’ve decided to keep the Denon 3311. When I upgrade I may look into Pioneer Elites more but for now I’m planning on buying some Marantz MA-500s to power my speakers individually. Does anybody have any experience with Marantz mono blocks?
