There's an older similar topic, but services have changed in 15 months. I'm not an Apple owner, but use iTunes for my music library. My main "must haves" are:

Excellent PQ.

Does one do any of those 4 better than the other? If Apple does HBO Go (with DirecTV) plus the 4 above, that'd basically seal the deal.

I have both, I am an Apple user and wanted he ATV3 to mirror the desktop of the new Imac I will get in June. I use Apple lossless and the sound is excellent. So is the PQ. The Roku is now in limbo.
