But HBO is advertising it.

I hope they do show it.
If you stop responding to them or put them on ignore, then eventually they'll go away.

It wasn't listed at the time & still isn't in the DirecTV on screen guide. Hall Pass is listed.

Yes but as mentioned HBO has not listed it in the past until later on so just cause it isnt there now didnt mean it wont be there later.

+ lacubs said it would be on so. :D

I watched the fight online. It was pretty good but Floyd is just so good. He's hard to hit and he's very accurate. But he did get roughed up and bloodied which is always good to see.

I wondered for years why they never did this before now. It's cheaper than ordering at home, gives the feel of being in an event setting with others, and the seats are more comfy than a sports bar.

but the food costs way more with less choice and some time poorer quality.

also some sports bars have free popcorn.
I want CLTV / CLTV HD on direct tv.

Not exactly "never" -- back in the pre-PPV days, in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, what were then called "closed-circuit" broadcasts of fights would regularly be shown in movie and other theaters. There's an episode of "Mad Men" in which some of the characters are going to a closed-circuit showing in Manhattan of the 1965 Muhammad Ali-Sonny Liston rematch.

Sorry, I meant since closed circuit pretty much died. Didn't specify, sorry.

So glad I didn't spend the money on the PPV. Although I really think HBO does a disservice for those that do pay for putting it on their channel the next week.

Watched the replay. Pretty good fight. I hate those film cameras they interspersed in.

I agree. It's pretty annoying and really adds nothing.

Nearly $70 for HD seems outrageous but the fight is intriguing. Im assuming the distributors(HBO) set the price. Anybody ever get discounts on PPV fights?

I've never bought a PPV event in my life especially boxing.

Enjoying AT 250 HBO,

We bought it (7 people, $10 each) so it wasn't bad, but, I just don't get why we can't watch it on the DVR, that is stupid
