How to get the package channels on demand

please forgive the newbie posting...
we are about three weeks into our DTV service...
we ordered the entertainment package...
one hd dvr and 3 hd receivers, and we are connected to my home wireless internet...

i thought we were able to get VOD on channels that are part of our package, but each time we try, we get an on screen message saying we should call if we want to add this service...

is this only available on a higher priced package? is it something that we have to add (advertising and website says its at no extra charge)

again, please excuse the newb, and thanks for your help...

Have you tried calling? Maybe they just need to turn it on.
