I am brand new to Dish (had DirecTv for 15 years). One of my receivers is a 211k, I added a external HD (enabled it). I can't find anywhere about PIP with the 211k, is it possible? thanks in advance. :)

BTW what is the "DIRT" and what is it exactly they done??

There is no PiP with the 211k.

DIRT are the Dish Internet Response Team. They work for Dish, and part of their job is hanging out with us and helping out.

"Belligerent and numerous."

Sometimes I update the Dish Network FAQ

AT200, Hopper & 360 via HDMI to Onkyo 505 to basement 42" Westy, Hopper via Comp-over-Cat5 to living room 42" Vizio with a Roku 3, Joey to Toshiba 32" LCD with a Logitech Revue. You want fries with that? Pull up to the 2nd window.

Dish's PIP only works with Dish's dual ouput receivers. 211 is neither so no pip, 622, 722, 922 and Hopper has it, but not 612 or Joeys. Not sure about the 222.

You can but then it is called a 722K!!!!!

:):):) If you want a dual tuner HD receiver you buy a 222 but if you want a dual tuner DVR you buy a 722.
