I'll try to post a better description--Duo 322 with two cables running to Dish Pro+ lnb pointed at 110 and 119 (attachment 1, middle upper row), suspected bad. Only thing I have to replace it with temporarily is (I guess this is the right terminology) is the legacy twin (attachment 1, upper left). How do I get the receiver to recognize this as I believe it should work--unhook dish, let receiver boot and fail, unhook receiver, hook dish up with replacement lnb and reboot receiver? Thanks again and sorry for the earlier confusion.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions and help. Problem almost solved. Did as I asked in the above post and got SAT1 working--but no signal on SAT2. He was so happy, he didn't want me to try and figure out what was wrong with the second tuner and wouldn't let me try any more troubleshooting. We'll let the pros take care of it Friday. Thanks again.
