Atari greatest hits all games free if downloaded tonight

At least on iOS, if you install Atari's Greatest Hits, you have access to all 100 games. The catch is, that this is only while you currently have the app installed on the device. If you reinstall later, you lose access to the freebies.

Normally the main app is free and you have to buy packs of games for 99 cents or pay $10 for all 100.

The app is free, but the games are not.

so they didn't open it up on Android? Bummer. This is for their 40th anniversary. Shouldn't be iOS only, though we can put our iPads in the cabinet that used to be an april fools joke.

Well... I can't speak to the Android, but it was yesterday (Wednesday) on iTunes for the iPhone/iPad app. You had to download it yesterday (6/27).

Also a caveat that it only had all the games for free as long as you don't remove or update or reinstall the app... if you ever did that, I assume it would revert to the normal must-pay state again.

Considering what my first Atari cost me $10 is easy money at this point for those games.

I played around with it some last night. Centipede and Millipede are definitely harder without the trackball.
