Then why did you jump into that exact conversation?

I was (mostly) stating that I agreed with you, but it doesn't matter. Forgive me for doing so...

Great minds think alike. I had this same idea earlier this evening while sitting outside at the Trempealeau Hotel, on the east bank. . .

I'm about a mile from the same river, but a bit further up, not quite to Elk River; same bank, sort of. . . feels more like the north bank here.

PAX......that's a good one. Although there is some mildly entertaining stuff, on ION, I think I liked some of their subchannels better.

No problems whatsoever here. I see contextweb.com appear for a SPLIT second, and it moves on. Just tried refreshing about 15 times, no problems. That said, there were some problems yesterday:

Contextweb is hosted on GoDaddy.com and they were brought down yesterday. (Some people say it was a hack/DDOS, they themselves say it is a "technical issue") This is probably the root cause of your problem. Your ISP might have a poorly configured DNS that is slow in updating its records, and not redirecting properly to hosts that were down yesterday.
[Disclaimer] The definition of "soon" is based solely on DirecTV's interpretation of the word, and all similarities with dictionary definitions of the word "soon" are purely coincidental and should not be interpreted as a time frame that will come to pass within a reasonable amount of time.

As I said, probably a slow-updating DNS server. Probably threw a lot of records out yesterday when a lot of hosts failed to resolve, and is slow to add them back. The DNS structure of the internet is quite vulnerable.

Really, really fed up with Time Warner here and looking to make a move. Problem is D* still lacks many of the HD channels I want. Any ideas on networks like Cooking, Headline News, G4, DIY, LMN & Oxygen (WAF Required), Reelz, & TVLand. For being the self proclaimed "HD Leader" they sure are missing a ton of basic HD channels. The HD selection is really the only thing keeping me with Time Warner. The equipment and new guide system is garbage. I want to make the move even though I'd need to add an OTA setup, but there are a few core channels they just don't carry among many more that I can pass up. I'm going by the website print list, so if they've added any recently, please advise.
