You can get the Mhz network on a Roku Box. Seems less difficult than getting it in Directv. It is free on Roku, and the transmission is in HD.

Mike

And if you don't have a Roku, it streams on their website.

[Disclaimer] The definition of "soon" is based solely on DirecTV's interpretation of the word, and all similarities with dictionary definitions of the word "soon" are purely coincidental and should not be interpreted as a time frame that will come to pass within a reasonable amount of time.

So did DIY-HD or ION-HD have anything to do with the S.U.T.B. post?

No, and I wouldn't expect it.

I think the whole point of the acronym was that it was unofficial.

Indeed. I wound up with the second dish simply on inquiry, I asked if they would come out and install and they agreed. My point is to have the latest newscast from AJE, FR24 and Euronews available on my HR24. Online and Roku are fine for viewing, not so much for recording ;).

What about the secondary networks to the main ones you have in HD? Like Style because we have E. IFC, We and Fuse because we have AMC. Cooking because we have DIY. HLN because we have other turner properties. And H2 because we have A&E and History.

Etc... Etc...

I thought some of these content owners required you to carry these networks together. Hence the whole "a la cart won't work" argument.

Hopefully SR will drop some more hints as to additional HD. H2, HLN, FMC, LMN or TVLAND would be nice additions.

If he does those hints will likely be something not decipherable to the human brain.

Or he may not provide us with any information at all if he is treated with so much disrespect.

This is part of why I suspect that D* has some HD licenses in their pocket they've simply chosen not to implement as of yet for priority, bandwidth budgeting, and infrastructure costs reasons.

Gee, I thought it was clear it was "Strike Up the Band" for his previously favored band icon to announce imminent HD launches. . . and I thought that before we knew for sure something was launching (nor was I alone in that thinking).
