Little by little. Closest to qualifying as a "Festivus" would be after D14 is successfully launched. Of course, that's wishful thinking. That DirecTV would immediately respond. That, at that point, whatever is nationally available in HD (carried only in SD) finally gets its high def added by DirecTV.

Festivii are by nature smaller. Maybe D14 will bring a lot but until then, we just have to hope DirecTV gets it in gear and keeps stuff coming.

Pittsburgh's going to the Super Bowl?

You have to be of a certain age and affinity for NFL Films for that one.

Speaking of D14 launch. Once that little birdie is up in the sky, is there a chance we are going to have some/more sub channels?
Just curious

Thee is always a chance. But I wouldn't bet on anything just yet with sub channels. They need to get the mains ones up everywhere first.

Aren't they pretty much done with that now? Lots of progress lately. Interesting to see new chart when it is done.

I'd rather see the sub-channels die a quick and painful death. Bit-starving and parasitic at the expensive of the main channel.

Just curious. Is Fox Movie Channel available in HD, and if so, which providers can it be seen on?

Brighthouse offers it in HD, and SOME Time Warner systems.

The (alphabetical) city one is already done.... or at least mostly done. I verfied things with DirecTV.com, but I intend to go over the transponder map thoroughly after I update some of the other charts (the state one should have already been up, but I didn't feel well last week, and the city one experienced a glitch that I had to figure out how to fix).

In the meantime, I've been relying on the kindness of fellow posters to report mistakes, and I've been getting about one report a day.

As it stands, the locals information should be mostly correct, but the HD newscasts, transponder information, and RSN info is probably the least reliable right now.

Discussion is welcome!

Nice work!

Lots of work left to do...

Not usually my style to put up something as unfinished, but I just wanted to go ahead and get something more current up than a 18 months or so old list, and then finish as I go.

Some markets had a HUGE difference between now and then... others, not so much. My market had considerable changes, but sadly, it was for the worst, as the old list had me with SIX HD-LiLs (and one SD), and now I'm at FOUR HD-LiLs (and three SD) due to affiliation changes.

A wink is as good as a nod to a wise man or something as some august personage has said.
