Correct sir.

BeIn replacing GolTV so that's the 1/2.

One more.

All are up in TEST, including the 5th.

Actually, I was guessing beIn 1 and beIn 2. Hopefully, the second channel will get added shortly.

Very sad that they are replacing GolTV as they still have the rights to the German league which is one of the top European leagues. Maybe they're just moving things around? We shall see...

It looks like BeIN will be 620 based on the data so far, which GolTV has today. We'll see.

So will GolTV be moved to a different channel, or dropped completely?

It is also on 426. If it stays, I'd expect it to be there.

1060 or 1070 (D12) usually reflects the 6th.

There's been alot of movement lately.

When they moved 12 channels to D12 (TP9 & 10), they freed up slots elsewhere, which are now being filled in.

Given that HD really pertains to delivering a much more entertaining image and sound presentation of material.

What's the real appeal to watching instructional and training shows on home construction, improvement and repair, which is what DIY is about, in HD?

Granted you don't want poor picture and sound quality, but isn't what the various programs teach on DIY far more important than the PQ its presented in for those interested in this channel?

I guess it is the same as why anyone wants talking head channels (eg, HLN), Channels that primarily show pre 1953 movies (eg, TCM) channels that primarily show pre HD era television shows (eg, TV Land), channels that show nothing but reruns of programs that were not that good in the first place (eg, ION) or shopping channels (eg, QVC) in HD. Some people do not want to watch anything that is not in HD regardless of whether HD makes sense.

While I am no longer a fan of BBCA and I rarely watch NGW, I can agree that these are the best HD additions in a long time - far better choices than E!, TCM, AMC, or TruTV - based solely on their video content.

I'd think there would be a lot of rebalancing. Not all channels are equal. The sixth channel probably means some "narrower" channels spread to different transponders.

Sixto doesn't scan Spanish HD channels so I suspect beIN Sport 2 will be added on the Spanish satellite the same day. Which I find appropriate since it is supposed to carry almost all matches from the Primera and Segunda divisions of La Liga (Spanish Football League for those not informed).

GolTV has been gutted since they lost rights to beIN Sport. I guess tonight will be the last hurrah with the US Open cup. We'll see.

So the new kid on the block , Disney Jr. goes into HD for the little kids, while us adults have to suffer through H2 in SD. H2 is a much more important and older channel. I call it a dirty deed, done dirt cheap. Why does Disney go to the head of the line?

Airing of grievances even before the channels are on the air.

Funny, I was just wondering where all the folks who were complaining that Jr was only in SD.

Because its a new channel. SR has said that new channels will be added in HD going forward.

My guess is that H2 and DIY aren't up for renewal yet, but once they are, the HD feeds will be available then.
