thanks.

I'm still nervous about all this. I live in the antelope valley and have been able to watch every game, local broadcast, no blackouts and for no extra charge.

I'm sure one or more of those is going to change...

Interesting. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that an Internet Provider doesn't update it's own website. lol Still though, with the holiday sales from amazon and Steam coming up, even 250GB could be pushing it. I just checked and last year, during those sales, I came close to the 250GB limit one month and hovered around 200GB the others.

I always liked Charter when I had them...and if I really wanted the Lakers I would have switched already. I watched the games when they were on, but I don't know if I'd pay to watch them. I do wonder how many casual fans they'd lose if this keeps up.

Um, it was right there on the page you linked to.... ;)

Went to the site and it says 100GB for their 2 cheapest services any service above that it says 250 GB except for their most expensive one and that's 500GB.

They don't offer those two cheapest services anymore. They are grandfathered packages, although I don't even understand why they don't just bump everyone up. Other than they probably charge more for less so let people figure it out on their own. The lowest that you can actually get now is 30 and its on special via the Internet right now for 29 a month. That comes with 250... Of course, the rep said that's everywhere, but maybe its only in certain markets.

Now maybe the Pac-12 deal can be made

Somhow I think this deal makes that even more of a remote possibility.

Id like to know the terms of the deal, and if it includes live streaming on twc's site.

DIRECTV would be hard pressed to carry neither channel, but they didn't see much loss not carrying the pac12, and with so many games on national carriers, the incentive is really small for them to fold to carry a channel that really isn't having much affect. If they couldn't have gotten the Lakers channel, then the pac12 channel may have helped save some losses due to not having that channel. Just me guessing....

lol this great news for all SoCal fans! I am legitmately surprised they reached a deal with the way things were going but I should've guessed they weren't testing the channel for nothing. Lakers just need to start winning now haha...

Now D* can focus on getting us H2 in HD and all the other HD VOD channels in HD! All I want for X-mas...

Choice package and above will receive TWC.

As for streaming, I believe that is part of the deal as well, though I don't know how fast that will be ready to go.

Excellent news. Right now, the only company that has streaming is Time Warner Cable. Charter and the others don't have logins yet, so I am guessing it may be a while. Thanks for all the info!
