Here is why. Some of us have grandfathered packages and you can't use online to make any changes. So you have to call and talk to a CSR. Not sure if the automated ordering works.

false i have a grandfathered package and was able to order nflst just fine off the website and also order any ppv that i want to.

I would not use automated calling, but the fact is Directv offers a variety of services for customers to use as a way to make changes to their Account. Those services should work as designed and not cause headaches for those who use them. I have had no problems with Directv. Been a happy camper for over 5 years. I always want to talk to a person. A computer cannot ask any followup questions to get a better understanding of what I am calling about. I hope it all works out for you MSguy

It really would have been quicker to do it on line then to come here and complain about an automate voice response system.

We have bigger things to worry about here, we just lost all the Viacom channels..:lol:
