Hey everyone, earlier today we were experiencing an issue at one of our up-link centers that caused an outage.

Well good. I thought I was gonna have to tweak my dish to get 129 better.

Thought I would post what I had to do to get my signal levels up. I tried to peak the dish but the pole the installer put in was way out of plumb so that was a waste of time. I put in a new pole next to the old one (in cement this time) and moved the dish over. Set the correct skew and peaked using the receiver meter. Results were:

dma 61x10 61x14 61x29 61x31
DC DMA 45 51 58 48
Before 50 53 55 47
After 49 52 56 49

dma 72x15 72x17 72x19 72x21
DC DMA 45 49 46 49
Before 52 54 53 56
After 57 61 57 62

dma 77x13 77x16 77x20 77x21
DC DMA 48 47 47 48
Before 40 41 42 44
After 61 62 60 62

I was hoping to get 61.5 a little higher since I believe that's where the HD locals are but 77 is much higher. Maybe now I won't have as much rain fade.

Looks like the DC locals are on 61.5 spot beam tp5 and that one reads 70. Either way I think I should see an improvement.
