Topeka, Corpus Christi, Laredo, and Duluth are in test.

Generally, how long does testing last? Or is there a set date that the local HD channels become live in Corpus Christi? Thanks

I would expect at least a couple weeks and possible as long as a month or two

Apparently Lansing, MI has been pushed back to November...

Pushed to November.

Two other markets will launch later in October. Lansing early November unless something technical comes up.

Which two markets will launch this month?! I don't know...

Testing takes anywhere from two weeks to... whenever. Most likely before the month is out, but that's just a guess... especially now that it looks like only two markets may launch this month.

Sadly, HD-LiL will most likely not be launched prior to Thursday night's episode of "Person Of Interest" with Reese and Detective Carter visiting Corpus Christi, TX. :nono2:

Quite a few members of my family lived in Corpus Christi, TX at one time, and a couple still do... so I wish y'all a special amount of luck for your HD-LiL launching soon! :)

It seems that LOCALS testing can take up to a month. Bakersfield and Monterey were in test for about 6 weeks even..... it's not usually a "next week launch", but at least you now know you'll likely have it before Christmas. :D
[Disclaimer] The definition of "soon" is based solely on DirecTV's interpretation of the word, and all similarities with dictionary definitions of the word "soon" are purely coincidental and should not be interpreted as a time frame that will come to pass within a reasonable amount of time.

I am the Stig.

Bakersfield and Monterey were in test for 7 weeks exactly. They probably could have used 8, my NBC has been really glitchy. Shame I already unplugged my little Radioshack antenna.

As we found out, Alan, Reese and Carter visited Bishop, TX, not Corpus Christi. Bishop is south of CC and just next door to Kingsville (home of the King Ranch). I was stationed at the US Naval Air Station there for three years in the '80s. However, the filming was obviously done around New York City (POI's home base) as the area around Bishop and Kingsville is much flatter than that portrayed in the episode.

DIRECTV employee April 2004-November 2012.
The above comments are my own because I don't know if anyone would care about my opinions anymore.

Can folks with an SD affiliate of The CW (particularly those that are MPEG4) take a look at the online guide on DirecTV.com for me?

I'm seeing a CW HD logo. DirecTV.com correctly displays the plain ABC logo for the local ABC affiliate that DirecTV currently carries in SD only, so I'm curious if this is an across the board issue?

Thanks!
