You are probably 8-10 degrees too far west.

Cover the two outer lnbs with aluminum foil and find 119 with the center lnb.

It is not uncommon for people to be off 9 degrees on their pointing, especially those who only do/have done only a couple. I do pointing like Jim does, cover both outer lnb's and point for 119. Once 119 is close, you can tighten the rear bolts, but leave just a hair loose, so you can still adjust but not freely moved, and it's mostly the tilt/skew to get 110 and 129 in. When your levels are as high as you can get them, then fully tighten all the nuts and bolts.

He should make the post plumb and set tilt's angle by tables first.

Thanks for all the replies. I will try it with the outer lnb's covered. my post is plum. My settings for my area are..Az..219....Elev...34....Skew...117....I Looked at a dish at a buddies house on the other side of town whose dish was professionally installed and his settings were elev...40 ....skew ...120. I tried those settings and got nothing.. Am I off to far west or is my skew and elev. the ones I should be trying?

If you are getting two out of the three sats, you skew should be very close. Once you cover the outer lnb's, remove the coax and run a check switch to clear the matrix. Recconnect the coax then rotate the dish to your left as you stand behind it and lower the el till 119 comes in. Fine tune the signal level for 119 verifying signal strength on several different transponders, remove the foil from one of the outer lnb's (you may want to do 129 since signal strength is usually a little lower). Fine tune for a few of those and keep checking back with 119 to make sure you are not losing it, it may go down a couple of points as long as it is not too many you should be good. Then see where you stand on 110. Keep in mind, depending on the type of lnb and switch, you may be only seeing high 50's. Don't frustrate yourself trying to get 125 because you are never going to get that high (the meter is not a percentage and the software changed over the years and you are not going to get anywhere near that level). When 110 and 119 are close to the same and 129 is only a few points lower, then tighten all the nuts and bolts so the dish is as secure as it can be (don't break them), then run check switch to verify all sats and you should be done.

Normally - assuming your post is properly plumb - you set the skew and leave it alone. I first came up with the foil trick more than 10 years ago.

Having ANY kind of satellite aiming meter (even the $25 cheapies) will make it much easier to aim and peak, but there's nothing like having someone at the receiver to give you readings as well (both to make sure you're on the correct satellite, and to give you some numbers).

If you're aiming a 1000.2 - be aware that the coax connectors are not "as you would expect". Looking at from the back - the far left one should be for the middle (119), the middle one for 110, and the right one for 129.
You CAN put antennas on your owned and/or controlled property...

To the left as you position yourself behind the dish and lower your el just a bit.

At the last post I didn't change any thing on the dish itself. Just covered the lnb's up and did a check switch on them.

If you got 119W at max signal, you DON'T need to change elevation.

He has 129 on the 119 lnb, he may need to lower it only a couple of points.

While covered 110/129 - find 119W; slowly and by small changes in AZ/El !
