Haven't seen this before:

The first segment of the show Thursday night was dropped completely and the second segment was repeated!

I am presuming this is an NBC problem, and possibly West Coast only, not a DIRECTV® or DISH artifact.

It'd be appreciated if others could confirm or deny seeing this, provider, and where you're located (for those who have not put in location.)

Ah! Thanks! So it opened with the normal monologue?

So I am now thinking it was the local NBC (Ch. 11 in Bay Area) affiliate that was involved?

More data points would be great....

It was a typical show: monologue -> meal or no meal -> Kirsten Dunst -> ??? -> The Smashing Pumpkins. I don't know who the second guest was because my DVR didn't record about 20 minutes of the show. It just skipped right to the band after talking to Dunst for a few minutes.
