cannot view Pay Per View movies from Video on Demand

I cannot view Pay Per View movies from Video on Demand.
I had no problem viewing them with my old router.
The videos download to my DVR, but apparently DirecTV is not getting the communication from my DVR over the internet because when I try to view the recorded video, I get a message to call DirecTV extension 777. But when I call them, they are baffled because my DVR is successfully connected to the internet.

Yes, I have done a red buton reset.
