I need to buy (lease) a THR22 (DirecTV TiVo) and suitable dish locally in D/FW today (Friday) or tomorrow. Is there a store or somewhere else that'll let me do that? I'm already a DirecTV customer and plan to activate it within a day of buying it and I can't use the Mover's Connection.

No.

I'm sure Directv can't wait to get their hands on your unit.

I think solid signal ships next day
Opinions expressed by me are my own and do not necessarily reflect
those of DBSTalk.com, DIRECTV, DISH, The Signal Group, or any other company.

For a dish only you could try the local Craigslist.
