Since it costs 2.4¢ to produce a penny, my 2¢ worth is really 4.8¢ worth.  That 4.8¢ is my own and not the 4.8¢ of DIRECTV, Dish, or anyone else for that matter.

Sixto will be busy soon and later. The HD VOD and deals with Viacom and TimeWarner of the past year should provide some light on what we should expect in the near future. The technology of being able to have more HD in each transponder is probably a game changer from our assumptions of a year ago.

Anyway, I have been with Directv since 1997 and have no plans on leaving. I have options with cable and such, but I still like what I have more than the competitors. I must be on to something, because almost my entire family has Directv which included many brothers and a sister. They have FIOS, Time Warner, Comcast, Cablevision and ATT as options, but they love sports and HD and choose Directv. I was the pioneer and they followed. Maybe, I could get a reward ;-)

What about OUTER MAX HD that is the last of the missing HBO / MAX stuff other then west feeds.
Other Time Warner HLN HD, others?

Viacom MTV 2 HD, TV land HD, Centric HD, and others?

maybe Epix 1,2,3 HD and drive in HD?

EPIX 1 WEST HD as well?
I want CLTV / CLTV HD on direct tv.

See bass's comment was because djzack67's sig line still says "waitting for BBCA HD". We have that now, so it is time to change the sig line to "waiting for H2 HD".

Hey guys,

The Ovation Channel is showing quality high end drama series from the BBC and Australia every week, that have never been seen on US television. It also has the best culture and arts content. I hope we can get the Ovation Channel in HD soon. I am hoping SatRacer can pull this off.

I agree. Ovation HD would be a great addition. Any channel that offers more international programming in HD would always be welcome at my house! :)

Ovation has been slipping in some reality tv (dance competitions and the like) lately, looking for better ratings, but otherwise they have a really nice mix of arts and culture stuff you rarely find on other channels.

I used to watch "Later with Jools Holland" on Ovation for his eclectic mix of music acts, but awhile back the show moved to Paladia. So now I don't have to suffer through highly compressed SD. But there are still lots of good shows on Ovation that deserve to be shown in better picture quality.

Noticed that H2 VOD and LMN VOD programs are all in HD. Could this possibly mean that both will be coming soon in HD?

Could be. Since many H2 programs will probably be on VOD a few days after broadcast, I am going to check H2 VOD more.

I am hoping that this channel will go HD soon. I don't watch it a lot anymore now that so many other HD channels were added.... but will again when it is in HD :)
[Disclaimer] The definition of "soon" is based solely on DirecTV's interpretation of the word, and all similarities with dictionary definitions of the word "soon" are purely coincidental and should not be interpreted as a time frame that will come to pass within a reasonable amount of time.

I am the Stig.

What's keeping D* from having these channels in HD? I feel like everybody else has them in HD.

Well... I had earlier predicted TV Land HD prior to the season premieres of "Hot In Cleveland" and "Happily Divorced" tonight, but I was apparently wrong.

I'm quite pleased that I had a little Festivus today though, as DirecTV now offers the local ABC in HD. I had access to ABC through other ways, but I'm quite pleased to have it available, and have edited my desire for it out of my signature. Hopefully DirecTV can work something out with the local CW affiliate soon... hint hint! ;)
