Hey all, switched from TWC to Direct yesterday and for the most part very happy. I have the new 34 DVR with 100/700 HD receivers in 3 other rooms, WH-DVR works fine from every unit but direct cinema channels came in when first installed on the 100/700 receivers and after a software update 3-4 hours after installation they no longer come in. The 34 DVR works fine and I tried re-booting the other units still no on demand and other.

Any ideas would be appreciated, still 10x better than TWC's navigator software..:)

I have read that it can take up to 24 hours for it to return after you do a reset.

Spoke with Direct-Tv customer Service today and she told that On-Demand can only be ordered from the HR34 DVR and not from one of my other HD-tuners..??? I asked why I would want to go downstairs at night and turn on the TV and select a show to go back up and watch it.? Answer: I think I am telling you the right thing but I really know nothing about that stuff, and than she hung up...Nice Customer Service...:(

On Demand requires a hard drive to store content downloaded from the internet. Your HR34 has one the others dont. You have to start the download on the HR34 then use Whole Home to view in a different location.
HR20-100, HR20-700, HR24-100, HR34-700/AM21
