SWM not connected / New Dish

so guys went on the room last night again for another 2 hours, Nothing ! i have setup about 20-30 dish before but this one i am now convince has a bad LNB, anyways i guess he has to fork out 199 and pay DTV to install it, they are coming today ! lets see what happens.

just in case anyone is wondering, it was a bad LNB, new LNB and it worked like a charm ! one HUGE thing i learned today, if SWM is not in your dish list, your Sat is not connecting to LNB. oh well you learn something everyday ! thanks for all the replies here.

Did they charge $199 after you had done most of the work ?
Just curious. I would have thought it would not have been more than $99.

they did, then i called customer service and the lady was kind enough to credit the $199 back :)
