Maybe the DNS, NY channels 390, 392, 396, 398 should be open to all. Crazy footage! I hope all of you on the east coast are safe!

Hurricane Sandy broadcasts is on all my locals.

So unless Castle & Revolution rebroadcast sometime this week, I'll probably miss both episodes.

CNN Fail: they break in to a news conference of Mayor Bloomberg, and DirecTV still inserts their "moving deal" commercials....

I understand how that all works and that it is pre-programmed, but I was wondering if in case of breaking news, these commercials can't be suspended.
[Disclaimer] The definition of "soon" is based solely on DirecTV's interpretation of the word, and all similarities with dictionary definitions of the word "soon" are purely coincidental and should not be interpreted as a time frame that will come to pass within a reasonable amount of time.

Hurricane clouds tend to be low, and not very thick with height. That is why they still use KU for mobile uplinks.

Tivo Premier XL4, Tivo Premier, Tivo HD whole home on Xfinity HD, DirecTv Whole Home with 39" high gain KaKu dish, Roku3,SageTv 8 TB Win8 Server -> DVDO Edge-> Denon AVR, Klipsch KB15's/Panasonic 55ST60 plasma"

I read an announcement that they're putting in reruns, to save the new programming for more eyes. So don't worry!

I have been watching all the coverage that I can. Things are not looking good for my home town. So far I have not been able to reach friends of mine still living there. From what I can tell the whole damn place is under water.

1am here...finally the whistling winds have stopped..My D* dish survived Irene and Sandy at home...At my bar I'm told it did not, but we had flickering lights most of the evening so I'm heading in tmrow to check the damage from rain and see if its the boxes that reset (mine did at home too for power spike) or if the Dish is floating somewhere in the Hudson..

some times on cable that also happens they just need to stop putting out the flags that trigger the inserts

They had Letterman on to an empty studio. And he and Denzel sounded like fools calling the worst storm to hit New York in 80 years weak.

Jimmy Fallon did the same thing.

I don't why they wouldn't let their employees have the night off to attend to things with their families.
