The Hopper does not support OTA at the moment... however, whenever the Hopper is enabled for OTA support, I would expect OTA sub-channels to be viewable at that point.

My Network TV
local Weather channels/nes
PBS Create
PBS Kids
PBS in HD
CW in HD
METV
ALL required an over the air tuner (OTA).

I wonder how many hopper customers dont know they are missing a lot of local channels?

My new hope is they release the USB tuner "sooooon"
The CES Video posted on line has a Dish Official stating that it would "come out this summer" That was in Jan 2012 so I assume he meant 2012 and they are running just a little late. Mybe there is some patent or FCC approval paper work hold up?

They never promise summer of 2012 exactly.

So in a few months it will come summer 2013. Just sit tight and wait....

I watched it again. The Dish Official did say THIS Summer. He said this in Jan 2012 at CES
