We had DirecTV installed last week and the installer gave us a PPV coupon and we then got another one in the mail a few days later. Both coupons say they are worth $4.99 but, every movie we look at has a price of $5.99. Can we use the $4.99 coupons on a $5.99 movie fully understanding that it will not cover the full price?

The $4.99 is usually the price for the SD version of the move, the HD version is a $1 more. My understanding is that you can watch the HD version, use the coupon for a $4.99 credit, and you pay the extra $1.

See post My Setup for configuration info.

My install was 13 days ago and I believe I received the same coupon you did.

Don't they have to be mailed in? That's such a lame fulfillment method. There should be a unique one-use code on such a coupon that the customer would apply to their account online after viewing a PPV movie.
