Long story short, I was already getting sick of my second receiver combo (2800 + deactivated TiVo standalone) when the TiVo shot craps after getting bounced around a few times.

I called Dish and got a 510 for $99 + my old 2800. Then I prepaid a year of AT150 before it becomes the more expensive AT180.

Now that I've made this substantial investment, if Viacom decides to play chicken with Charlie and I lose CBS or my 4-year-old's channels, it'll be all my fault. Sorry, everybody! ;)
Yes, FTABlog is active again. Why do you ask?

Great, now that you've done this, Dish will end up being sold to Adelphia.

Dang Carload

I knew it was your fault all along.

I bet you are also causing the shortage of the 921 and 811 receivers.
