If they put MLB TV on Directv DVR will I be able to record games on it to a DVD

That's not how it works.
If you stop responding to them or put them on ignore, then eventually they'll go away.

Sure, record to the DVR then later transfer to a DVD recorder in lower quality. :)

You could even use a capture card on a PC and burn to a Blu-Ray in HD if you wanted to spend the money and put the effort in.
