I'm heading to Aruba tomorrow and since I have NFL Sunday Ticket To Go, will I be able to use this over there to catch the games on my tablet? I'm hoping so :D

Very unlikely.

What DOES work is a VPN connection to a U.S. based host.
[Disclaimer] The definition of "soon" is based solely on DirecTV's interpretation of the word, and all similarities with dictionary definitions of the word "soon" are purely coincidental and should not be interpreted as a time frame that will come to pass within a reasonable amount of time.

I am in Europe now. The only thing that works for me is Slingbox. VPN would too. Otherwise, everything is pretty much frozen. You might get lucky in Aruba though. You never know.

If you're near a TV you might be able to get some of the broadcasts as a lot of the Carribean countries get the US networks via their cable systems. I'm not sure about Aruba specifically, but some of them also carry Canadian networks like CTV and TSN which also have NFL games.

If you can't get them on line there are many bars including most hotels that have access to the games. Directv is wide spread in Aruba.

it will not work. The ip address will prevent access to your account programming online offshore. The laws regarding access range from lax to strict depending on country and it appears that we err on the side of caution.

Or to be specific, NFL ST via DIRECTV's Latin America service (probably for Venezuela based on Aruba's geography).

My number #1 issue when traveling international...no Directv! Best I've seen was SKY in Britain. I was able to catch some games on one of the SKY Sports channels. Worst I've seen was Bell in Canada...epg looked like Dish network....the channel line-up did not!

You might even get the game in your room. They get the NY locals in Aruba and that game is being shown in NY.

Had to post to bring this thread to a close, but I actually was able to stream the Niners/Rams game while fliying from Miami to LAX yesterday using the in-flight WiFi....pretty cool! Although the ending sure was terrible (for me) I had to restart the app a few times when video would freeze but to be able to fly and watch the game, was awesome!
