"Tax" is showing on the iPad app, channel 510. I'm guessing this is just a fluke?

I am on channels I get and SD channels are showing with the HD channels.
My guide goes from 509 to 511, No 510.

Edit: I just looked at my bill and we are taxed here in Texas. From my online bill:

Sales Tax 7.04

These always appear on various empty channels whenever a state is considering a tax on satellite subscribers. It's basically a message to tell subscribers to call their local and state reps to say no.

This time it's for Illinois and the message will be on channels 336, 343, 510, 518, 533, 616 and 627 starting Monday. All other states will see a not available in your area message when they go live.

odd that they are useing 5XX and 6XX slots seeing how they may be needed for the missing RSN's / sports channels and missing movie channels.
I want CLTV / CLTV HD on direct tv.

They always put them in many slots across the lineup so more people will see them as they flip channels, although this time the slots they would usually use in the 200s are now taken by new channels like Cinemoi and Rocks TV as well as NBC Sports which moved to 220 earlier this month. They usually only last for a few weeks, however they still have other gaps in the movies and RSN range where some of the missing movie channels and RSNs would fit if they launched any of them in the near future.

the tax rate in Texas on satellite is 6.25%, slightly under the median of 6.6%. Still less than half of number one, Florida, @ 13.17%. I'm guessing Florida has a pretty good cable lobby.

Easy to move. They want them in commonly used areas in the guide.
