Turn on the TV and there is a bank screen. Turned on and off the DVR with the remote and the picture and audio in back on. Ran System test and came back with code 21-932 Bad Drive. RBR HardDrive Utilities Ran Smart Short Test (3011) Fail. Can anyone give more info on the Fail codes. Thinking about just replacing the Drive Rather then go through the hassle of have DTV Replacement the receiver and have a chance of not getting a HR24 Replacement.

Search is your friend:

Just put an eSATA drive on it and you'll be fine.

Not sure on the code, but unless you own the 24, you'll need to use an external drive.

Supposedly they try to replace the 24 with a 24, but not guaranteed.
