For the News Junkie or those trading stock during the day this was a must and a key reason for subbing to Directv!

And their explanation shows no concept of the viewers. People using NewsMix are not going to switch to Disney Jr or a Sports Channel.

Those channels are already up so why take down 352?

Frankly, I stopped using it, the SD PQ is horrible, maybe more people would use it if it was in HD?

See post My Setup for configuration info.

need the bandwidth??

Directv is very low on SD slots.

Now what about adding NBA LP mix and NHL CI mix?

Will sports mix be dropped soon?
I want CLTV / CLTV HD on direct tv.

What about 102? Wasn't that exactly the same as 352 or did it have different channels in it?

I never understood why they seemed to duplicate this, unless I'm too dense to notice what was different. :D

There is still a page that mentions them together: http://www.directv.c...assetId=1200065

I could see if the 'new' channels that they listed hadn't gone live yet but they've been up for awhile now, Disney Jr's been up for months.

See post My Setup for configuration info.

There would be nothing to show on the NHL CI mix :nono:

I never used it, and not sad about it going... but im not seeing their logic here... Those channels they listed have been up for a while. Not sure what Disney Jr, Bein Sports, and TWC SportsNet have to do with the newsmix channel.

I'm very very dissapointed in directv for doing this. One of my selling points to my wife into going back to directv was the news mix channel which we used quite often when we had directv, now i have to find something else to convince her to come back, for me the nba league pass and being able to get all the celtics home and away games with the celtics in HD with the celtics announcers is a BIG reason why i want to come back. my wife is a news junkie and really loved the news mix channels ,BIG MISTAKE DIRECTV!!!

102 says news mix is no longer available.

I won't miss it. I do a lot of surfing among news channels, but the switching of audio on the mix channels is so sluggish that I get impatient. May as well just change channels.

Yeah ...

Because one was just a remap of the other.

It was the same former SD satellite signal for both ch. 102 and 352. TPN 15 at 101 (the D8 bird).

Shopping Mix! Now that is a channel I could get in to...hunting and killing.

I use a custom guide list so I only see the channels I want to see. What I really want is a way to reorganize them into my own groupings. I hate CNN is not with the other new channels and Smithsonian is not with the Discovery type channels.

DirecTV really needs to get their act together when it comes to channel groupings. There are so many single channels just littered across the guide nowhere near like channels.

In comparison to Charter, my old TV service, DirecTV has great groupings. They had an absolute mess of a lineup. I don't miss that at all.

Really hard to do. What is TNT? A movie channel? A rerun channel? A sports channel?

Where do you put TLC? Education or entertainment.

The groupings are pretty logical. You got examples where they are not?

Remember they also took down the 4 SD Nascar Hotpass channels which are HD only now.
