My dad wants me to hook him up with MRV like I have.

His system now is a HR22-100 and an R16-300.

I know we need to upgrade the the R16 which DTV will to a HR24, can I still simply hook them up to his router via Ethernet cables?

Also is it possible to still get HR22 from DTV instead of the HR24?

My system at home is HR20 and HR22 via Ethernet with no problems, just dont know about the newer HR24 hooked up via Ethernet.

Thanks

Started DirecTV with UltimateTV in 1997
UTV... one thing MS did right... then quit, go figure!

the HR24 has an ethernet port, so don't shoot yourself down with a HR22

You can connect it like yours, but may need to hassle with DirecTV to get it activated in the unsupported mode.
