I have an HR23. Most of the time when I hit the LIST button, I see my list of recorded shows pretty rapidly. About 25% of the time, however, I will hit the list button, the main LIST display comes up with NOTHING listed and finally 15-20 seconds later the display finally shows listed shows.

I have done a red-button re-boot and a NVRAM clear and that hasn't made the problem go away

First question might be how many recordings are there?

Disk is about 50% full. Probably about 50 recordings.

I don't get the obsession over number of recordings/percent full. I have an HR20 with a 750GB HD, networked with another HR2x. Drive is stuffed, 9% free. Has been around that full for months, speed comes and goes irrelevant of how full it is.

"I'm guessing" the DVR is needing to re-index the recordings during these times. The 23 ain't the fastest DVR these days.
