Neither, I just change the channel, or delete from the list if my recording is over.
So i didn't Vote. Maybe add all the exit options to your next poll. There is more then 2.

Yes, on top of the remote right under the PWR button.

So, if you're watching a recording and it ends, you hit the channel button?

And if it's over, but hasn't reached the end of the recording, you wait until you get the delete prompt?

I'm sure Directv can't wait to get their hands on your unit.

I most often use the EXIT button because I'm usually done with whatever I'm watching and don't want to come back to it, but sometimes I use the stop button because it takes me back to the option page where I can RESUME, START OVER, DELETE, etc., etc., so I guess my choice is on a needs basis and not one fits all.

Cool thing I just learned: Left arrow does the same thing.

But it keeps the recording playing giving away next week's episode or showing the first couple of minutes of a show you don't want to start watching yet.

A couple of minutes????? It takes me under two seconds to delete the program if that's my intention.

I know you hate the absence of the Stop button, but let's keep it within the realm of reality! :eek2:

within the realm of reality? Look who's talking... I'm being completely realistic. When I go into the playlist I don't always know what I want to watch next. Yes, it does take me a couple of minutes to decide at times.

Just because you don't want stop doesn't mean you have to crap all over those of us who do.

I'd like Stop retained and/or added back for those who use it.

In the meantime, I am pointing out existing alternatives for those who might care to use them.

Sorry you feel you've been defecated upon.

I use Exit on most occasions but I have used Stop in the past but as a creature of habit I normally use Exit.
