So im getting a HR34 in addition to my current HR21 and will have 2 more boxes. Is there any difference for MRV as to which box (21 vs 34) that the shows are recorded on or would it be the same?

Thanks

You'll have a combined playlist with the source DVR showing on the info banner of the item in the playlist.

As far as playback, it doesn't matter which dvr it is on a properly working system.
