Do I have to get new distant network waivers if my father died?

I sub to mydistantnetwork currently the name on the account is my father, does mydistantnetwork allow for name change or do I have to get new waivers?

That's a hard one. If the service address or anything else does not change you may get them to do it. Dish may ask for a copy of the Death Certificate and let it go. When my dad passed, Dish closed his account and moved his receivers over to mine on just my say so, but we were not dealing with Distant waivers.

This would be a question of what MyDistantNetworks would do ... not DISH.

DISH no longer offers distant networks. (They pulled their RV offering in November.)

My father has been dead for 15 years and mom still gets bills and other mail in his name, despite having moved away from the former marital residence.
